Kitchen extension in Dulwich Village

The brief of the project was to create a social living space with a kitchen, dining and lounge, connected to the mature rear garden. We worked with an architectural practice (Delve Architects) on the design of the extension and internal specifications.

The layout is arranged to optimise views towards the garden when cooking, lounging or dining in the space. The kitchen is designed to look-and-feel like beautiful wood joinery, hiding away appliances while not in use, yet fully functional when exposed.

The kitchen has been supplied by Roundhouse Kitchens to high specifications. The tall run of units is in rough sawn oak which offers a warm textured finish; the island and the side run are in matt dark grey. The worktops on the hard working areas are in honed black granite, while a breathtaking full slab Calacatta Borghini marble worktop and splash back act as a central masterpiece.
